Oak Miniature Dower Chest with Fall-Front

A replica of a small Welsh “coffor bach” (meaning “miniature chest”) and made from the finest Oak. It features simple fielded panels above a “dummy” drawer. Traditionally, it was the duty of the bride’s family to provide a chest, to be used for storing the bride’s “dowery” linen. This design has a fall-front designed for modern usage, but it can be supplied with a lift-up lid (design no. RL.21422/B).
