This privacy policy explains how Titchmarsh & Goodwin Fine Furniture Ltd uses any personal information we collect about you when you use our website or contact us by phone, email or other correspondence.

We collect personal information via email, website contact forms, phone calls etc.  This policy outlines what information we collect, how it is stored and what it is used for.

We will not use any personal information for any purpose other than which it is intended to conduct our business and provide you with information, orders or services.

General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and this policy are designed to protect individual’s information.  Business contacts and information are considered to be in the public domain and therefore are not covered.  The GDPR is in force from 25th May 2018.

Basic identification information collected is for example your name and contact details. This will be used for:

a) Electronic delivery of emails, postal letters and any other information relating to our business and the products and services that we offer.

b) To administer our accounts systems.

c) The supply of products/order. This may include passing details to third party suppliers, such as for fabric samples, etc; with whom we have placed a purchase order on your behalf.  That supplier may further share those details with third party couriers etc.

d) Third party couriers that we occasionally use to deliver items and orders.

e) To meet our legal and regulatory obligations

f) Website usage information is collected using cookies and IP addresses recorded when contacting us through our website.

We will not sell or share any personally identifiable information collected by us to any third party unless required to do so by law.

We will retain all given information on the following basis:

a) All information required to administer our accounts system, are stored on archived software or on our current order/accounting system.

b) Paper files are kept in our offices with the aim of improving customer service if you need to contact us again for future orders or assistance.

c) Our mailing database is stored on both Excel spreadsheets on our server and also on a cloud based email marketing system.

d) All other contact details and information will be retained indefinitely either on a local hard drive, server or in paper form stored in our offices.

Payments made by card are made using a secure cloud based system, we do not hold or retain any credit or debit card details.

If information is legitimately requested by the Government or one of their agencies we will comply with any such request.

You may at any time review or update any personally identifiable information we hold.  In the first instance please email info@titchmarsh-goodwin.co.uk.  We will take any reasonable steps to confirm your identity before any such changes are made.
