Walnut Kneehole Desk
A fine partner’s desk in characterful burr walnut
Our partner’s desk is one of the most complicated and beautiful pieces that we hand-make in our Suffolk workshops. It has a solidity, authority and luxury to suit the real connoisseur of fine furniture. We source our walnut from the UK and across the Caucasus where it is celebrated for its distinctive black markings and characterful, dense grain. The desk is veneered in burr walnut, with walnut cross-banding and boasts concealed cupboards and slides. The drawers are made from oak and chestnut and veneered in burr walnut. It takes our highly skilled cabinet makers 267 hours to make and a further 82 hours to polish to an exceptionally fine finish

Furniture Care Notes
We suggest a sparing application of beeswax polish from time to time and believe our own brand polish is the best (£5 not including P&P), available from head office. Alternatively, we also recommend a good quality natural beeswax.
